Charge Audit Analyst

Franciscan Health is seeking an experienced Charge Audit Analyst to join our team and ensure accurate, compliant and efficient charge capture processes.In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of charge capture processes in order to maximize reimbursement. You must be able to analyze and interpret various data sources, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate with other departments.We are looking for a highly-motivated individual with excellent problem solving skills and a passion for helping others. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of two years of experience working with charge capture process and/or healthcare reimbursement principles. Experience with coding/billing software and medical terminology is also required.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain charge capture processes in order to maximize reimbursement.
2. Analyze and interpret various data sources.

5. Provide guidance and direction to other departments as needed.

8. Develop reports to maintain visibility into charge capture processes.
9. Assist with coding/billing software and medical terminology.
10. Provide training and guidance to staff on charge capture processes.
