Certified Surgical Technologist

Responsibilities:

-Assist in the preparation and transportation of patients for surgical procedures

-Ensure that the operating room is properly set up with all necessary instruments and supplies -Assist in the positioning and preparation of patients for surgery -Pass instruments and other supplies to the surgeon during the course of the procedure -Maintain a sterile field and ensure that aseptic technique is followed -Monitor the patient’s vital signs and report any changes to the surgeon -Keep a record of all surgical procedures performed -Carry out post-operative duties as directed by the surgeon -Conduct regular maintenance and inspection of surgical instruments and equipment -Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff in the operating room
