Anesthesia Technician

1. Assist the anesthesia team in preparing and setting up equipment and supplies needed for anesthesia procedures.
2. Ensure that all anesthesia equipment is in proper working condition and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate staff.
3. Maintain inventory of anesthesia supplies and equipment and order replacements as needed.
4. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize anesthesia equipment according to established protocols.
5. Monitor patient vital signs and assist with patient positioning during procedures.
6. Anticipate the needs of the anesthesia team and provide support as necessary.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of anesthesia services.
8. Follow all infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
9. Document and maintain accurate records of anesthesia procedures and supplies used.
10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to provide exceptional customer service.
11. Attend and participate in department meetings and trainings to stay updated on new procedures and equipment.
12. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
13. Continuously strive to improve processes and promote a culture of excellence in patient care.
14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
15. Perform other related duties as assigned by the anesthesia team or supervisor.
