Job Description

Responsible for the management of Foster Farms’ third party administrator (“TPA”) for Leave of absence, ADA and disability programs. Responsible for absence and disability program strategies critical to the organization’s success. This position will liaise with our third-party leave administrator, human resources, supervisors, and benefits, with a focus on timely resolution of leave and ADA issues. Ensure TPA compliance with best leave of absences practices, manages leave of absences diligently and ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws. Ensure TPA compliance with contract, service level agreements and manage spending on services to ensure appropriateness. Will serve as an advocate for employees on leave of absence while ensuring leave of absences are handled professionally and timely.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ management level experience in Leave and Disability.

  • 3-5 years managing TPA for LOA/Disability

  • 2 years minimum managing leave of absences & disability in a high volume, fast paced manufacturing environment preferred

  • Experience with handling multiple concurrent projects, keeping information organized, and learning “as you go” to keep up with the dynamic work environment
