Assistant Distribution Center Manager

Providing oversight for the receiving and storage of both fresh and frozen product from the various Foster Farms plants, as well as from third party warehouse locations; directly supervising NCDC1 and Stack off. Ensure that employees are picking and shipping customer orders and outside warehouse orders 24 hours 7 days a week efficiently and accurately; making necessary staffing adjustments to respond to work flow. Routinely visiting the outside cold storage facilities to ensure proper storage and rotation of our products. Analyzing performance trends for the facility by auditing the functions performed on each shift along with analysis of data to ensure goals are met and to locate process improvements and cost savings. Ensuring safe, efficient facility operations by advocating safety training and accident preparedness.
