  1. Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions using Oracle BI platform.
  2. Design and implement data models and data warehouses to support BI solutions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  4. Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient and effective BI solutions.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data and BI applications.
  6. Stay updated with the latest BI trends and technologies to continuously improve and enhance existing solutions.
  7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  8. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
  9. Conduct testing and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of BI solutions.
  10. Create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data mappings and data dictionaries.
  11. Collaborate with database administrators and other IT teams to ensure data integrity and security.
  12. Participate in meetings and presentations to communicate project updates and provide insights on BI solutions.
  13. Continuously monitor and improve the performance of BI solutions.
  14. Adhere to data governance policies and procedures in all development and maintenance activities.
  15. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the overall BI development process.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience With Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (Obiee) - A Senior Oracle Bi Developer At Fortive Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Obiee And Be Able To Use It To Design, Develop, And Maintain Complex Bi Solutions.

  • Strong Sql And Pl/Sql Skills - This Role Requires The Ability To Write And Optimize Complex Sql And Pl/Sql Queries To Extract And Manipulate Data From Oracle Databases.

  • Knowledge Of Data Warehousing Concepts And Best Practices - Fortive's Senior Oracle Bi Developer Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Data Warehousing Principles, Such As Data Modeling, Etl Processes, And Data Quality, To Design And Develop Effective Bi Solutions.

  • Experience With Data Visualization And Dashboard Development - The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Creating Visually Appealing And Interactive Dashboards Using Oracle Bi Tools, Such As Obiee And Oracle Data Visualization.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Bi Projects - Fortive Is Looking For A Senior Oracle Bi Developer With A Strong Track Record Of Delivering On-Time, High-Quality Bi Solutions That Meet Business Requirements And Add Value To The Organization.
