Job Description

Fortive is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our dynamic team as the Head of HR Finance and Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and operational aspects of our Human Resources department. We are looking for a driven and strategic leader who is able to effectively manage a team and drive continuous improvement in our HR processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, operations, and HR, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.   1. Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the Human Resources department, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  2. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the overall HR goals and objectives of the organization.
  3. Lead and direct a team of HR finance and operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  4. Ensure compliance with all financial and operational policies, procedures, and regulations.
  5. Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the HR department.
  6. Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as HR leadership, to develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive HR excellence.
  7. Monitor and analyze financial data and provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
  8. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR finance and operations to drive continuous improvement.
  10. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates and recommendations on HR financial and operational matters.
  11. Proactively identify and mitigate financial and operational risks within the HR department.
  12. Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and alignment.
  13. Create and maintain a positive and supportive work environment for the HR finance and operations team.
  14. Serve as a subject matter expert on HR finance and operations matters and provide guidance and support to other HR team members as needed.
  15. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.
