  1. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques on various materials and components according to industry standards and company procedures.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of test results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  3. Troubleshoot and identify potential issues with equipment or testing procedures.
  4. Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accurate results.
  5. Communicate test results and findings to relevant team members and stakeholders.
  6. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop and improve testing methods.
  7. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times while performing NDT activities.
  8. Keep accurate records of all tests and inspections performed.
  9. Continuously strive for quality improvement and efficiency in NDT processes.
  10. Stay updated on industry advancements and incorporate new techniques and technologies into testing procedures.
  11. Train and mentor junior NDT technicians as needed.
  12. Follow company policies and guidelines to maintain a professional and ethical work environment.
  13. Represent the company and its values while interacting with clients and customers.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  15. Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position, But A Post-Secondary Degree In A Related Field Such As Engineering Or Physics Is Preferred. In Addition, Candidates Must Have Completed Training And Certification In Non-Destructive Testing Techniques From A Recognized Institution.

  • Experience In Ndt: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Performing Non-Destructive Testing In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting. This Experience Should Include Proficiency In Using A Variety Of Ndt Techniques Such As Ultrasonic, Radiographic, Magnetic Particle, And Liquid Penetrant Testing.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: A Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Non-Destructive Testing Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Be Familiar With Codes Such As Asme, Aws, And Api, As Well As Safety Regulations Such As Osha.

  • Attention To Detail And Analytical Skills: Ndt Technicians Must Have Strong Attention To Detail And Be Able To Analyze And Interpret Data Accurately. This Includes Identifying Defects And Anomalies In Test Results, Evaluating The Severity Of The Defects, And Recommending Appropriate Actions.

  • Communication And Teamwork: Ndt Technicians At Fortive Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Team Members, Managers, And Clients. They Should Also Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment, As This Role Often Involves Collaborating With Other Technicians And Engineers To Complete Projects And Solve Problems. Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
