Job Description

If so, then Fortive has an exciting opportunity for you as a Calibration Technician.As a Calibration Technician at Fortive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our measurement equipment. You will be responsible for performing calibrations, adjustments, and certifications of various instruments and devices, as well as maintaining calibration records and documentation.We are looking for someone who has a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. A minimum of 2 years of experience in calibration is required, along with a degree in a related field.   1. Perform calibrations, adjustments, and certifications of various instruments and devices according to industry standards and company procedures.
  2. Maintain accurate and organized calibration records and documentation.

  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical problems that arise during the calibration process.
  5. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  6. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of calibrations.
  7. Continuously monitor and maintain calibration equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and techniques related to calibration.
  9. Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to report any issues or concerns.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data security measures.
  11. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  12. Train new employees on calibration procedures and techniques.
  13. Conduct quality control checks on completed calibrations to ensure accuracy and precision.
  14. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness of calibration processes.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
