- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales and profitability across all Foot Locker retail locations.
- Lead and manage a team of store managers, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure their success.
- Monitor and analyze store performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in brand messaging, promotions, and product offerings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across all stores.
- Continuously evaluate and improve store operations and processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market competition, and customer preferences to make informed business decisions.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Represent Foot Locker at industry events and conferences, showcasing our brand and building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage budgets for all stores, making financial decisions to support business goals.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Serve as a role model and mentor for store managers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
- Ensure that all stores are consistently delivering a high-quality shopping experience for our customers.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and develop store managers and other store staff.
Strong Leadership Skills: A Vice President Of Stores Should Possess Excellent Leadership Qualities To Effectively Manage And Guide A Team Of Store Managers And Associates.
Retail Management Experience: A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Retail Management, Preferably In The Athletic Apparel Or Footwear Industry, Is Required For This Role. This Includes Experience In Managing Multiple Store Locations And Driving Sales Growth.
Strategic Thinking: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Strategic Plans To Achieve Business Objectives, Such As Increasing Sales, Improving Profitability, And Enhancing Customer Experience.
Financial Acumen: A Vice President Of Stores Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Management, Including Budgeting, Forecasting, And Analyzing Financial Reports. They Should Also Have Experience In Driving Cost-Saving Initiatives And Maximizing Profitability.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Essential In This Role, As The Vice President Of Stores Will Need To Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Senior Management, Store Teams, And Customers. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills.
