- Receive and process incoming stock shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Unpack, label, and organize merchandise according to company standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and communicate any discrepancies to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized stock room and sales floor, following company guidelines.
- Assist in setting up displays and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Collaborate with sales associates to ensure efficient restocking of popular items.
- Monitor stock levels and proactively communicate low inventory to management.
- Follow safety protocols to properly handle and store merchandise.
- Operate equipment, such as a forklift or pallet jack, to move and transport merchandise.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to improve knowledge of products and processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding stock levels and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to inventory management and loss prevention.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with product inquiries and locating items for customers.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of seasonal sales and promotions.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing the company to customers and colleagues.
Knowledge Of Retail Operations: A Stock Associate At Foot Locker Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Management, Merchandising, And Customer Service.
Physical Fitness: This Role Requires Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Heavy Boxes And Merchandise, So Physical Fitness Is An Essential Qualification For A Stock Associate.
