- Maintain and organize inventory levels in the store to ensure that products are readily available for customers.
- Receive and process shipments of merchandise, including unpacking, counting, and labeling items.
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays with new merchandise according to company standards.
- Ensure that all products are displayed neatly and in an organized manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any low stock or out-of-stock items.
- Keep storage areas and backrooms clean and organized to facilitate efficient stock management.
- Assist customers in finding products and sizes, as well as answering any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that products are displayed in an appealing manner to attract customers.
- Implement loss prevention techniques to prevent theft or damage to merchandise.
- Follow safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding any inventory or stock-related issues.
- Assist with inventory audits and participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Continuously update knowledge of current and upcoming products, as well as any sales or promotions.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a positive attitude towards customers and team members.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Knowledge Of Retail Industry: A Stock Associate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Retail Industry, Including Store Operations, Customer Service, And Inventory Management.
Organizational Skills: This Position Requires Strong Organizational Skills To Maintain An Orderly And Efficient Stockroom. Stock Associates Should Be Able To Multitask And Prioritize Their Workload.
