Job Description

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Shift Leader at Foot Locker. In this role, you will guide and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving sales and achieving operational goals.   1. Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales.
  2. Create and maintain a positive and energetic work environment for team members.
  3. Ensure that all team members are trained and knowledgeable about the latest footwear trends.
  4. Set and communicate sales goals and targets to the team and work towards achieving them.
  5. Monitor and track individual and team performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  6. Take charge of resolving customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  7. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on the latest industry trends.
  8. Collaborate with store management to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of resources.
  9. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members effectively.
  10. Uphold company policies and procedures and ensure team members comply with them.
  11. Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
  12. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates and provide training and development opportunities.
  13. Foster a team culture of teamwork, respect, and accountability.
  14. Conduct performance evaluations and provide recommendations for promotions and disciplinary actions.
  15. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  16. Keep track of sales and inventory data and provide reports to store management.
  17. Stay updated on company promotions, events, and product launches to effectively promote them to customers.
  18. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
  19. Serve as a role model for team members, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  20. Attend training sessions and workshops to continuously improve leadership and customer service skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: A Shift Leader At Foot Locker Should Have A Strong Background In Retail, Preferably With Experience In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role. This Will Ensure They Have A Good Understanding Of The Industry And The Company's Operations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Shift Leader, It Is Important To Effectively Communicate With Both Team Members And Customers. This Requires Strong Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Listen, Give Feedback, And Resolve Conflicts.

  • Leadership Skills: A Shift Leader Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members, Delegate Tasks, And Make Sound Decisions. They Should Also Be Able To Lead By Example And Set A Positive Tone For The Team.

  • Knowledge Of Foot Locker Products And Services: It Is Important For A Shift Leader To Have A Good Understanding Of The Products And Services Offered By Foot Locker. This Will Enable Them To Assist Customers With Their Inquiries And Provide Recommendations To Improve Sales.

  • Organizational And Time-Management Skills: A Shift Leader Is Responsible For Managing The Day-To-Day Operations Of The Store, Including Scheduling, Inventory Management, And Ensuring Tasks Are Completed Efficiently. Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills Are Essential To Effectively Handle These Responsibilities.
