Material Handler

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Material Handler to join our team and contribute to our daily operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. 1. Receive incoming merchandise: The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving all incoming merchandise and ensuring that it is accurately accounted for and processed in a timely manner.
2. Process outgoing merchandise: The Material Handler will also be responsible for processing outgoing merchandise, including picking, packing, and shipping orders to customers or other retail locations.
3. Maintain accurate inventory: It is the responsibility of the Material Handler to maintain accurate inventory levels by regularly conducting inventory counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
4. Organize and stock merchandise: The Material Handler will be responsible for organizing and stocking merchandise in the warehouse, ensuring that items are easily accessible and in good condition.
5. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse: The Material Handler will be responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and removing any potential safety hazards.
6. Follow safety procedures: It is the responsibility of the Material Handler to follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues.
7. Collaborate with team members: The Material Handler will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate processing of merchandise and to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
8. Communicate effectively: The Material Handler will be responsible for communicating any issues, delays, or concerns to their supervisor in a timely and professional manner.
9. Meet production goals: The Material Handler will be expected to meet or exceed daily production goals in order to contribute to the overall success of the warehouse operations.
10. Adhere to company policies and procedures: The Material Handler must adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
11. Continuously improve processes: The Material Handler should be proactive in identifying and suggesting improvements to processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
12. Maintain a positive attitude: The Material Handler should maintain a positive attitude and approach their work with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and grow.
