- Receive and unpack incoming shipments of merchandise.
- Inspect and verify all received items for accuracy and quality.
- Label and organize merchandise in designated areas.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track and update stock levels.
- Stock and restock merchandise on sales floor according to company standards.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all merchandise is properly stocked and available for customers.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and store merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and any issues.
- Continuously monitor and improve inventory processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as needed.
Experience With Warehouse Operations: A Material Handler At Foot Locker Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Warehouse Environment, With Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Shipping And Receiving Procedures, And Forklift Operation.
Physical Ability: This Role Involves Heavy Lifting, Moving And Organizing Large Quantities Of Merchandise, So Candidates Should Have The Physical Strength And Stamina Required To Perform These Tasks Efficiently.
Attention To Detail: As A Material Handler, It Is Crucial To Accurately Record And Track Inventory Levels, So Candidates Should Possess Strong Attention To Detail And Be Able To Identify Discrepancies Or Errors In Inventory Records.
