- Receive and process incoming shipments of footwear and apparel.
- Unload and unpack merchandise from delivery trucks.
- Verify accuracy and quality of received products.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and fulfill store requests for merchandise.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or shortages to management.
- Utilize company technology and systems to track and update inventory records.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and store merchandise.
- Perform regular inventory audits and report any variances to management.
- Prepare and pack merchandise for shipment to stores.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed while handling and storing merchandise.
- Follow company guidelines for proper handling and disposal of damaged or defective merchandise.
- Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by management.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the Foot Locker brand to the best of your ability.
Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations: A Material Handler At Foot Locker Should Possess Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations, Including Inventory Management, Receiving And Shipping Procedures, And Safety Protocols.
Physical Fitness: This Job Requires Individuals To Be Physically Fit And Capable Of Lifting Heavy Objects, Standing For Long Periods, And Operating Equipment Such As Forklifts And Pallet Jacks.
