Footwear Buyer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to increase footwear sales and meet the company's financial goals • Analyze market trends and customer preferences to identify potential products for purchase • Source new suppliers and negotiate competitive prices for merchandise • Monitor inventory levels and order additional stock as needed • Manage relationships with vendors and ensure a high level of customer service • Evaluate product performance and make recommendations for improvements • Maintain accurate records of all purchases and transactions • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all footwear products meet customer expectations • Provide leadership, training, and guidance to junior buyers and support staff
