  1. Develop and implement global merchandising strategies that align with company goals and drive revenue growth.
  2. Lead and manage the global merchandising process, including product selection, buying, pricing, and inventory management.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure alignment and consistency in merchandising strategies.
  4. Monitor market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for new product offerings and improve existing ones.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing to maximize profitability.
  6. Create and manage merchandising budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  7. Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions on product assortment, pricing, and promotions.
  8. Ensure timely and accurate execution of product launches and promotions across all global markets.
  9. Train and mentor team members on merchandising processes and best practices.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve merchandising processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Communicate regularly with senior leadership on merchandising performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to maintain a competitive edge.
  13. Uphold company values and promote a positive work culture within the merchandising team.
  14. Travel as needed to attend trade shows, visit suppliers, and conduct market research.

  • Extensive Experience In Global Merchandising: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Global Merchandising, With A Proven Track Record Of Success In Driving Sales And Profitability.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Director, Global Merchandising Process, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage A Team Of Merchandising Professionals. They Should Have A Track Record Of Developing And Mentoring Team Members To Achieve Their Full Potential.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Merchandising Processes: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Merchandising Process, Including Product Selection, Planning, Forecasting, And Inventory Management. They Should Also Have Experience With Merchandising Systems And Tools.
