As a Department Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of sales associates to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service.   • Manage and lead a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
  • Train and develop team members on product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques
  • Create and maintain a positive and welcoming shopping environment for customers
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure merchandise is properly displayed and organized
  • Collaborate with upper management to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions
  • Act as a role model and mentor for team members, promoting a positive work culture and fostering professional growth
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively assist customers and drive sales
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, loss prevention, safety, and store operations.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As A Department Lead, Effective Communication Is Crucial For Maintaining A Positive And Efficient Work Environment. This Includes Being Able To Communicate Clearly And Professionally With Team Members, Upper Management, And Customers.

  • Organizational Skills: A Successful Department Lead Should Be Highly Organized And Able To Juggle Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities. They Should Be Able To Prioritize Tasks, Manage Inventory And Merchandise, And Ensure That The Department Is Running Smoothly.

  • Knowledge Of Sales And Customer Service: Foot Locker Is A Customer-Focused Company, And The Department Lead Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Sales And Customer Service. This Includes Being Able To Train And Coach Team Members On Effective Selling Techniques And Providing Exceptional Customer Experiences.
