In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and drive the success of our store. As a Department Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific department, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales targets.   1. Lead and manage a team of sales associates to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  2. Drive sales and achieve sales targets for the designated department.
  3. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and make strategic business decisions.
  4. Train and develop team members on product knowledge and selling techniques.
  5. Ensure excellent customer service by providing a welcoming and knowledgeable shopping experience for customers.
  6. Maintain and organize the department according to company merchandising standards.
  7. Collaborate with other department leads and store management to create and execute marketing and promotional strategies.
  8. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels and minimize loss.
  9. Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for the product.
  10. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, cash handling, loss prevention, and safety standards.
  13. Set and maintain a high standard of visual presentation for the department.
  14. Collaborate with HR to recruit, hire, and train new team members.
  15. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  16. Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and inclusivity within the department.
  17. Monitor and manage department expenses and budget.
  18. Proactively communicate with upper management on any issues or concerns within the department.
  19. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.
  20. Uphold the company's brand values and represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Employees, And Upper Management.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably Within The Athletic Footwear Or Apparel Industry.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Proven Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Foot Locker's Products, Services, And Policies.

  • Ability To Analyze And Interpret Sales Data To Make Strategic Decisions For Driving Sales And Achieving Targets.
