As a Department Lead, you will have the opportunity to oversee a team of dedicated sales associates and play a crucial role in driving sales and providing exceptional customer service.   1. Oversee and manage a team of sales associates to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
  2. Serve as a role model and leader for the team, inspiring them to excel in their roles and achieve their potential.
  3. Utilize strong knowledge of the sneaker industry to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and provide valuable insights to both the team and customers.
  4. Act as a liaison between upper management and the sales team, communicating goals and expectations clearly and effectively.
  5. Train and develop new and existing team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and assist with merchandising and restocking to ensure the store is visually appealing and products are readily available for customers.
  7. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
  8. Collaborate with other Department Leads and store management to create and implement effective sales strategies.
  9. Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and encouraging the personal and professional growth of team members.
  10. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the overall success of the store and company.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: A Department Lead At Foot Locker Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Similar Industry.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Department Lead, Effective Communication Is Crucial In Managing A Team Of Employees, As Well As Interacting With Customers And Other Departments Within The Company.

  • Excellent Leadership Abilities: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Exceptional Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Guide Team Members, Delegate Tasks, And Make Strategic Decisions.

  • Knowledge Of Foot Locker Products And Brands: A Department Lead Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Foot Locker's Products, Brands, And Overall Company Culture To Effectively Lead And Drive Sales Within Their Designated Department.

  • Sales And Customer Service Oriented: Foot Locker Is A Customer-Centric Company, And The Department Lead Should Have A Strong Sales And Customer Service Mindset To Ensure An Exceptional Shopping Experience For Customers And Achieve Sales Goals.
