Assistant Manager

1. Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
2. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
3. Drive sales by implementing and executing store promotions and strategies, monitoring and analyzing sales reports, and motivating the team to achieve sales targets.
4. Train, coach, and develop team members to ensure they are knowledgeable about the products and able to provide excellent customer service.
5. Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to inventory control, loss prevention, and safety protocols.
7. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
8. Conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback to team members to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.
9. Support the Store Manager in administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and budget management.
10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities to make informed decisions and recommendations.
11. Display a strong passion for the Foot Locker brand and actively contribute to creating a positive brand image in the community.
12. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and development within the company.
