- Assist the Store Manager in managing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and sales goals.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of current and upcoming athletic footwear and apparel trends to effectively assist customers in their purchasing decisions.
- Train and develop sales associates to ensure they are knowledgeable about products, customer service, and store policies.
- Assist with scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Assist in visual merchandising and maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store.
- Handle cash and credit transactions, as well as opening and closing cash registers.
- Enforce store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to create and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies.
- Act as a role model for employees by demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to the brand and company values.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings, trainings, and conferences to stay updated on product knowledge and company initiatives.
- Assist in managing and resolving any customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking products to ensure availability for customers.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and goals set by the company.
Previous Retail Experience: A Successful Assistant Manager At Foot Locker Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Role. This Will Demonstrate Their Understanding Of The Industry And Their Ability To Handle Day-To-Day Operations.
