If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The Office of Student Publications at Florida State University is seeking an OPS Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance the visual communication of our publications and make a lasting impact on the university community. We are looking for a self-motivated and dedicated individual who is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative and supportive environment.   1. Design and create visually appealing graphics for various publications and materials, including but not limited to magazines, newsletters, flyers, and social media posts.
  2. Collaborate with the team to develop and execute creative concepts and ideas that effectively convey the message and brand of the university.
  3. Utilize design software and tools to bring ideas to life and produce high-quality, professional designs that meet the needs and objectives of the Office of Student Publications.
  4. Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in visual identity across all publications.
  5. Stay up-to-date with current design trends and techniques to continually improve and enhance the visual communication of our publications.
  6. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, providing and receiving constructive feedback to continuously improve designs.
  8. Adapt to changing priorities and handle new tasks and challenges as needed.
  9. Actively seek out and incorporate feedback from stakeholders in the university community to create visually impactful designs that resonate with the target audience.
  10. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and dedication to producing high-quality designs that align with the mission and values of the Office of Student Publications.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  12. Attend meetings and presentations to discuss design concepts and updates on projects.
  13. Adhere to all university policies and procedures related to graphic design and publication production.
