  1. Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff of Florida State University.
  2. Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance for various technology-related issues.
  3. Demonstrate strong communication skills in order to effectively assist and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  4. Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers.
  5. Possess a strong customer service mindset and a passion for helping others.
  6. Work closely with other members of the Fall Service Desk OPS Pool to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest technology and procedures in order to provide the best support possible.
  8. Document and track all customer interactions and resolutions in a timely and accurate manner.
  9. Collaborate with other IT departments to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  10. Adhere to all university policies and procedures regarding IT security and data privacy.
  11. Assist with maintaining and updating the service desk knowledge base and documentation.
  12. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  13. Serve as a positive representative of Florida State University and its IT department.
  14. Prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  15. Continuously strive to improve and streamline service desk processes and procedures.
