  1. Greet and welcome visitors, students, and staff to Florida State University in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide administrative support to department personnel, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.
  3. Maintain and organize department documents, records, and databases to ensure they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
  4. Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and conferences for the department, including arranging necessary equipment and supplies.
  5. Assist with the preparation of various reports and presentations, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  6. Process and track department expenses, maintain budget records, and assist with financial transactions as needed.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and coordinate departmental activities.
  8. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise in day-to-day operations.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline administrative processes.
  11. Ensure the department's compliance with university policies and procedures.
  12. Act as a liaison between the department and other university departments, as well as external organizations.
  13. Train and supervise any administrative support staff, ensuring their adherence to department standards and procedures.
  14. Stay updated on university policies, procedures, and events to provide accurate information to students, faculty, and staff.
  15. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the department head or supervisor.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration Or Related Field
