VP, Procurement

As an innovative and fast-growing retailer, Five Below is looking for an experienced Vice President of Procurement to lead our procurement department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our procurement process, while ensuring that the purchased goods and services are of the highest quality and are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior procurement role within a large retail organization. You must have a proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and leading procurement teams. In addition, you must have an understanding of the retail industry and be able to develop and implement strategies that will maximize cost savings and optimize our supply chain. You will use your keen business acumen and analytical skills to identify opportunities and drive bottom-line results. Responsibilites:

1. Manage all aspects of the procurement process, including supplier selection, contracts, negotiations, and vendor relationships.

3. Analyze and identify opportunities for improvement.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
5. Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
6. Monitor and evaluate performance of procurement teams and vendors.
7. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to procurement.
8. Analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategies to achieve them.
9. Monitor market trends and analyze pricing and supplier performance.
10. Negotiate contracts with vendors to obtain the most favorable terms.
