- Lead and mentor a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and support
- Solve customer issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Provide hands-on support to customers and sales associates on the sales floor
- Train and develop new team members on company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude towards customers and team members
- Ensure a clean and organized sales floor at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking products as needed
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and targets
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers
- Follow safety and security procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and team members.
Excellent Communication Skills: A Support Lead At Five Below Must Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Customers, And Management.
Experience In Retail: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Position. Knowledge Of Store Operations And Customer Service Is Essential.
Leadership Abilities: As A Support Lead, You Will Be Responsible For Overseeing And Coaching A Team Of Associates. Therefore, Strong Leadership Qualities Such As The Ability To Motivate, Delegate, And Resolve Conflicts Are Essential.
Problem-Solving Skills: The Support Lead Should Be Able To Think On Their Feet And Effectively Handle Any Issues That May Arise During Their Shift. The Ability To Identify Problems And Come Up With Creative Solutions Is Key To Success In This Role.
Availability And Flexibility: As A Part-Time Position, Candidates Should Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Available To Work Weekends And Holidays. This Role May Also Require The Ability To Work Different Shifts As Needed.
