As a Support Lead, you will have the opportunity to use your strong communication and leadership skills to ensure our customers have a memorable shopping experience.   1. Lead and mentor a team of customer service representatives to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
  2. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
  3. Train new team members on company policies and procedures, as well as customer service best practices.
  4. Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  5. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  6. Collaborate with other department leaders to develop and implement strategies to improve customer service processes and procedures.
  7. Maintain a positive and energetic work environment for team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and support.
  8. Stay up to date on product knowledge and promotions to effectively assist customers and promote sales.
  9. Assist with scheduling and assigning tasks to team members to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  10. Act as a role model for exceptional customer service, leading by example and motivating team members to do the same.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In A Leadership Role: A Support Lead At Five Below Must Have Prior Experience In A Leadership Position, Whether In A Retail Environment Or A Different Industry. This Experience Will Demonstrate The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team Effectively.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Support Lead, One Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Customers, And Other Members Of Management. This Includes Being Able To Give Clear And Concise Instructions, As Well As Being An Active Listener.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: A Support Lead Must Be Able To Think Quickly And Come Up With Solutions To Any Issues That May Arise. This Includes Handling Customer Complaints, Managing Inventory Discrepancies, And Addressing Any Employee Concerns.

  • Organizational Skills: With The Responsibility Of Overseeing Various Tasks And Team Members, A Support Lead Must Have Strong Organizational Skills To Ensure All Tasks Are Completed Efficiently And On Time. This Includes Delegating Tasks, Creating Schedules, And Maintaining Inventory Levels.

  • Customer Service Experience: Five Below Places A Strong Emphasis On Providing Excellent Customer Service. A Support Lead Must Have Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role, With A Proven Track Record Of Providing Exceptional Service And Resolving Customer Issues.
