Job Description

Welcome to Five Below, where we believe that shopping should be fun and affordable! We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Lead to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Support Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs smoothly by providing exceptional customer service and assisting with daily operational tasks. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a positive shopping experience for our customers and has a strong attention to detail. If you are a team player with excellent communication skills and a desire to learn and grow, we would love to have you on our team!

  1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, resolving issues, and processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
  3. Assist in daily operational tasks such as restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness.
  4. Serve as a role model for other team members by demonstrating a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  5. Train and coach new team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and management to address any customer or operational issues in a timely manner.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or low stock to management.
  8. Handle customer complaints and escalate to management when necessary.
  9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  10. Proactively seek out ways to improve the customer experience and provide feedback to management.
  11. Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and balancing.
  12. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and targets.
  13. Continuously strive to learn and grow in the role and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Communication Skills: A Successful Support Lead At Five Below Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Both Customers And Team Members.

  • Prior Retail Experience: Previous Experience In A Retail Environment Is Highly Preferred For This Role. The Support Lead Should Be Familiar With Store Operations, Customer Service, And Inventory Management.

  • Leadership Abilities: The Support Lead Will Be Responsible For Leading And Supervising A Team Of Associates, So Strong Leadership Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Coach Team Members To Achieve Their Goals.

  • Customer Service Oriented: Five Below Places A Strong Emphasis On Providing Exceptional Customer Service, And The Support Lead Should Have A Customer-First Mindset. This Includes Being Able To Handle Customer Inquiries And Complaints In A Professional And Efficient Manner.

  • Flexibility And Availability: As A Part-Time Role, The Support Lead Must Have A Flexible Schedule And Be Available To Work Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays As Needed. This Is Important To Ensure Proper Coverage And Support For The Store.
