Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the support operations and ensuring a positive and efficient customer experience.   1. Oversee support operations to ensure a positive and efficient customer experience.
  2. Motivate and develop team members to reach their full potential.
  3. Lead by example and act as a role model for excellent customer service.
  4. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment.
  5. Ensure team members are properly trained and equipped to handle customer inquiries and concerns.
  6. Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Collaborate with other team leads and managers to ensure seamless support processes.
  8. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  9. Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  10. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  11. Maintain proper inventory levels and assist with merchandising and visual displays.
  12. Communicate effectively with the store management team to address any support-related issues.
  13. Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and promotions to ensure accurate and consistent information is provided to customers.
  14. Assist with the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new team members.
  15. Adhere to all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe and secure working environment.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: A Support Lead At Five Below Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate Their Team Of Support Associates. This Includes The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Clear Direction, And Handle Any Conflicts That May Arise.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Support Lead Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Both Their Team And Other Departments Within The Company. They Should Have Exceptional Written And Verbal Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Information And Address Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: The Ability To Think Critically And Find Solutions To Problems Is Crucial For A Support Lead. They Should Be Able To Identify And Address Issues In A Timely Manner, And Be Able To Adapt And Pivot When Necessary.

  • Customer Service Experience: Five Below Prioritizes Providing Excellent Customer Service, And The Support Lead Should Have Previous Experience In A Customer-Facing Role. This Will Allow Them To Understand The Needs And Expectations Of Customers And Ensure That Their Team Is Providing The Best Possible Service.

  • Retail Experience: While Not Required, Previous Experience In A Retail Environment Is Beneficial For A Support Lead At Five Below. This Will Give Them A Better Understanding Of The Company's Operations, Policies, And Procedures, And Help Them Effectively Manage Their Team And Support The Store's Overall Goals And Objectives.
