- Greet and welcome customers to the store with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Assist customers in finding products and provide product knowledge and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized salesfloor, ensuring products are neatly displayed and shelves are fully stocked.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point-of-sale system.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Proactively engage with customers to promote sales and special offers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and store promotions to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and loss prevention measures.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers, team members, and management.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Salesfloor Associate Should Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Exceptional Customer Service And Assist Customers With Their Needs.
Knowledge Of Products: Candidates Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Products Sold At Five Below And Be Able To Effectively Communicate Features, Benefits, And Pricing To Customers.
Sales And Cash Handling Experience: Previous Retail Experience, Particularly In Sales And Cash Handling, Is Preferred For This Role. This Includes The Ability To Accurately Process Transactions And Handle Money.
Team Player: A Salesfloor Associate Should Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment And Collaborate With Other Associates To Achieve Sales Goals And Maintain A Positive Work Environment.
Ability To Multitask: This Role Requires The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously, Such As Assisting Customers, Restocking Shelves, And Maintaining Store Cleanliness. Candidates Should Have Excellent Time Management And Organizational Skills.
