  1. Greet and welcome customers to the store in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their shopping needs and answering any questions they may have.
  3. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and company policies to effectively communicate with customers.
  4. Utilize product knowledge to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by restocking shelves, arranging merchandise, and keeping displays visually appealing.
  6. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and credit card transactions.
  7. Proactively approach and engage customers to drive sales and meet daily sales goals.
  8. Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient shopping experience for customers.
  9. Attend and actively participate in training sessions to expand product knowledge and improve sales techniques.
  10. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability by maintaining a consistent schedule and being punctual for shifts.
  11. Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
  12. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Experience In Retail Sales: A Successful Sales Associate At Five Below Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Sales Role. This Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of Basic Sales Techniques And Customer Service Skills.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Five Below Is A Popular Store That Can Get Busy, Especially During Peak Shopping Seasons. As A Result, Sales Associates Should Be Able To Thrive In A Fast-Paced Environment, Multitask, And Handle High Volumes Of Customers With Ease.

  • Positive Attitude And Team Player Mentality: Sales Associates At Five Below Are Expected To Maintain A Positive Attitude And Be Team Players. This Means Being Willing To Help Out With Tasks Outside Of Their Specific Role, Collaborating With Other Team Members, And Maintaining A Friendly And Helpful Demeanor Towards Customers.
