- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Assist customers in finding products and answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products and promotions in order to accurately inform customers.
- Responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer transactions at the cash register.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Proactively communicate with customers to provide exceptional service and address any concerns.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, handling cash, refunds, and store security.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales goals and targets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company in a positive manner.
- Attend and actively participate in all training and staff meetings.
- Adapt to changes in store policies, procedures, and promotions as needed.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to better serve customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the store management team.
Excellent Communication Skills: A Sales Associate Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers To Understand Their Needs And Recommend Products.
Customer Service Experience: Prior Experience In A Customer-Facing Role, Such As Retail Or Hospitality, Is Desirable For A Sales Associate Position.
Knowledge Of Products: A Strong Understanding Of The Products Sold At Five Below Is Important For A Sales Associate To Be Able To Assist Customers And Make Recommendations.
Sales Experience: Previous Experience In Sales, Especially In A Retail Environment, Is A Plus For A Sales Associate Job At Five Below.
Flexibility And Adaptability: As A Sales Associate, One Must Be Able To Adapt To Changing Situations And Work In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment. Flexibility In Working Hours And Shifts May Also Be Required.
