Welcome to Five Below, where everything is just $5 or below! We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the New Store Inventory Manager. As the Inventory Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our new stores by managing inventory operations and maintaining accurate stock levels. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about retail and thrives in a fast-paced environment.   1. Manage inventory operations for new store locations, from receiving and stocking products to conducting regular inventory checks.
  2. Ensure accurate stock levels at all times by closely monitoring inventory levels and making necessary adjustments.
  3. Develop and maintain efficient inventory management processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize loss.
  4. Collaborate with the corporate inventory team to maintain consistency across all store locations and provide timely updates on inventory levels.
  5. Train and supervise new store inventory team members, ensuring they understand and adhere to inventory management procedures.
  6. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  7. Communicate effectively with the store management team to ensure inventory needs are met and any issues are addressed promptly.
  8. Utilize inventory management software to track and update inventory levels, as well as generate reports for management.
  9. Work closely with the purchasing team to forecast inventory needs and place orders in a timely manner to avoid stock shortages.
  10. Continuously monitor product trends and customer demand to make informed inventory decisions and adjust stock levels accordingly.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized stockroom to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
  12. Monitor product expiration dates and manage product recalls, if necessary.
  13. Proactively identify and resolve any inventory-related issues, such as damaged or missing products.
  14. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in inventory management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times, fostering a strong relationship with vendors and suppliers.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Data And Make Strategic Decisions.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Inventory Management, Preferably In A Retail Environment.
