- Develop and implement merchandise strategies to drive sales and meet company goals.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with buying team to source and select products that align with company brand and target market.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to make informed decisions on product selection and inventory levels.
- Work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional opportunities.
- Create and maintain product assortment plans, ensuring a balance of new and existing products.
- Plan and execute product launches and seasonal promotions.
- Manage inventory levels and make recommendations for markdowns or clearance sales.
- Train and coach sales associates on product knowledge and visual merchandising standards.
- Monitor and review competitor offerings to stay ahead of industry trends and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop product-focused campaigns and promotions.
- Communicate regularly with upper management on sales performance, product trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify and troubleshoot any inventory or supply chain issues.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and maintained in-store.
- Continuously seek out and implement ways to improve the customer shopping experience.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Retail Merchandising, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Sales Data And Make Strategic Decisions Based On Market Trends.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Negotiate With Vendors.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Inventory Levels, Driving Sales, And Achieving Profitability Targets.
