- Assist the Lease Audit team in conducting thorough and accurate reviews of commercial lease agreements.
- Analyze lease terms and financial data to identify potential discrepancies or areas of concern.
- Communicate with landlords and external legal counsel to gather necessary information and resolve any issues.
- Conduct legal research and provide summaries and recommendations to the Lease Audit team.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Real Estate and Finance to ensure accurate and timely lease data.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of all lease audit activities.
- Attend meetings and training sessions to learn about the legal processes involved in lease auditing.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Lease Audit team.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the overall success of the Lease Audit team.
- Communicate effectively with team members and superiors to provide updates on progress, challenges, and recommendations.

Law Degree: A Legal Intern At Five Below Should Possess A Law Degree From An Accredited University. This Will Provide A Strong Foundation In Legal Principles And Knowledge Of Lease Audit Procedures.
Knowledge Of Lease Auditing: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have Prior Experience Or Knowledge In Conducting Lease Audits. This Includes Understanding Lease Terms, Identifying Discrepancies, And Ensuring Compliance With Legal Requirements.
Attention To Detail: As A Legal Intern, Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Conducting Accurate And Thorough Lease Audits. This Includes Reviewing Lease Documents, Identifying Errors Or Discrepancies, And Maintaining Proper Documentation.
