  1. Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  2. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any potential issues to management.
  3. Collaborate with the purchasing team to track and receive new inventory.
  4. Maintain organized and efficient storage of inventory in designated areas.
  5. Utilize inventory management software to track and update inventory levels.
  6. Assist with the implementation of new inventory procedures and processes.
  7. Communicate with store associates and management to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
  8. Train new team members on inventory procedures and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  9. Identify and report any inventory-related issues to management.
  10. Participate in regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any areas for improvement.
  11. Actively contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve inventory processes and make recommendations to management.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the retail team by taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

  • Knowledge Of Inventory Management Systems: A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Systems Is Essential For An Inventory Associate At Five Below. This Includes Experience With Software Such As Sap, Oracle, Or Wms.

  • Attention To Detail: As An Inventory Associate, It Is Important To Have A High Level Of Attention To Detail In Order To Accurately Track And Organize Inventory. This Includes Counting And Recording Inventory, As Well As Identifying Discrepancies.

  • Organizational Skills: The Ability To Organize And Maintain Inventory In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment Is Crucial For An Inventory Associate. This Includes Keeping Track Of Multiple Products And Ensuring Proper Storage And Rotation Of Inventory.

  • Physical Stamina: The Role Of An Inventory Associate Often Involves Physical Tasks Such As Lifting And Moving Boxes, Stocking Shelves, And Conducting Inventory Counts. Therefore, Physical Stamina And The Ability To Stand For Extended Periods Of Time Is Necessary.

  • Teamwork: An Inventory Associate At Five Below Will Work Closely With Other Team Members To Maintain Accurate Inventory Levels And Ensure A Smooth Flow Of Products In And Out Of The Store. Strong Teamwork Skills Are Essential For This Role.
