- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in the store.
- Receive and process shipments of new merchandise.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure product availability and organization on the sales floor.
- Keep track of inventory turnover and communicate any trends or issues to management.
- Ensure that all merchandise is properly labeled and priced.
- Assist with re-stocking and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to management in a timely manner.
- Utilize inventory management software and tools to track and update inventory levels.
- Follow safety and security procedures to protect inventory and prevent loss.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with locating products and answering any inventory-related questions.
- Proactively identify potential inventory issues and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and assist in training new team members on inventory processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and purchasing, to ensure efficient inventory management processes.
Experience With Inventory Management Software: A Qualified Inventory Associate Should Have Experience Using Inventory Management Software To Track, Monitor, And Update Inventory Levels Accurately.
Strong Attention To Detail: This Position Requires A High Level Of Accuracy And Precision In Counting And Recording Inventory. A Strong Attention To Detail Is Essential To Ensure The Inventory Records Are Accurate And Up-To-Date.
Excellent Organizational Skills: Inventory Associates Are Responsible For Maintaining Organized And Well-Stocked Inventory Areas. Strong Organizational Skills Are Necessary To Keep Track Of Inventory Levels, Rotate Products, And Maintain A Clean And Tidy Work Environment.
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Items: This Role May Involve Physical Tasks Such As Lifting And Moving Heavy Boxes Or Products. A Qualified Inventory Associate Should Be Able To Lift And Move Items Up To 50 Pounds Comfortably.
