- Utilize data and perform regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, merchandising, and finance to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly.
- Develop and maintain inventory reporting and analysis to provide insights and recommendations to improve inventory management processes.
- Identify slow-moving and excess inventory and work with merchandising team to develop strategies to reduce excess stock.
- Track and report on key inventory metrics such as turnover, sell-through, and inventory aging.
- Continuously review and improve inventory management processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory and resolve any inventory-related issues.
- Monitor inventory levels against sales trends and adjust orders as needed to avoid stock shortages or overstock situations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory management to make recommendations for process improvements.
- Analyze historical data to forecast future inventory needs and make purchasing recommendations.
- Participate in inventory planning meetings and provide valuable insights to ensure inventory goals are met.
- Train and mentor team members on inventory management processes and procedures.
- Communicate inventory updates and recommendations to leadership and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Inventory Management Or Supply Chain Analysis.
Strong Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Data Analysis Tools.
Knowledge Of Inventory Management Systems And Processes.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Trends And Recommend Solutions To Improve Inventory Efficiency.
