- Receive, sort, and organize incoming products from suppliers.
- Accurately label and store products in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Prepare and package products for shipment to our stores.
- Utilize warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and transport products.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following warehouse safety protocols.
- Assist in regular inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members to prioritize tasks and complete them efficiently.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to the warehouse manager.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and quality of all warehouse activities.
- Continuously strive to improve warehouse processes and suggest ways to increase efficiency.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards set by the company.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- Cross-train in various warehouse tasks to be able to fill in for team members as needed.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented work culture.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A General Warehouse Associate Should Have At Least A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Physical Stamina: The Job Of A General Warehouse Associate Involves Standing, Walking, And Lifting Heavy Objects For Extended Periods Of Time. Therefore, Physical Stamina And Endurance Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
Forklift Certification: Many Warehouses Use Forklifts To Move And Stack Products. Having A Valid Forklift Certification Can Be Advantageous For A General Warehouse Associate.
