Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual looking for a part-time role in asset protection? Look no further! Five Below is seeking a dedicated Asset Protection Specialist to join our team. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our merchandise, employees, and customers. We are looking for someone who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and is able to think on their feet.   1. Monitor and patrol store premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security risks.
  2. Identify and report any suspicious activity or potential risks to management.
  3. Conduct thorough bag checks of customers upon entrance and exit of store.
  4. Utilize CCTV and other security systems to monitor store activity and identify potential security threats.
  5. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement effective security procedures.
  6. Train and educate store employees on proper security protocols and procedures.
  7. Respond to and handle any security incidents that may occur, including emergency situations.
  8. Conduct investigations into any reported theft or security breaches.
  9. Work closely with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
  10. Maintain accurate records of all security-related incidents and reports.
  11. Conduct regular audits of store inventory to identify and prevent any potential losses.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in asset protection techniques.
  13. Communicate effectively with customers and employees to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
  14. Identify and address any security vulnerabilities within the store.
  15. Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including securing merchandise and cash handling.
