Asset Protection Specialist

At Five Below, we are looking for an Asset Protection Specialist to join our team and help keep our store safe and secure. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for security and be able to identify and prevent theft. The Asset Protection Specialist must be detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills, as they will be responsible for liaising with local law enforcement, store management, and customers. To be successful in this role, you should have at least two years of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work flexible hours. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and patrol store premises to identify and prevent theft and other security incidents.
2. Investigate suspicious activities and violations of security protocols.
3. Liaise with store management, local law enforcement, and customers to ensure proper resolution of security incidents.
4. Operate surveillance equipment and monitor store entrances and exits.
5. Prepare and submit reports of security incidents and investigations.
6. Ensure safety of store premises and contents in accordance with company policy.
7. Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
8. Maintain confidentiality of store data and information.
9. Remain up-to-date with security protocols and best practices.
10. Work flexible hours, as required.
