1. Monitor and maintain store security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarms, to ensure the safety of customers, team members, and merchandise.
2. Conduct regular inspections of store premises to identify potential security risks and take appropriate action to address them.
3. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement strategies to prevent and reduce theft and other security-related incidents.
4. Train and educate store team members on security protocols, procedures, and best practices to create a security-minded culture within the store.
5. Respond to and investigate any security incidents, including theft, fraud, and safety hazards, and report findings to appropriate parties.
6. Work with law enforcement and legal authorities as needed to address security incidents and support any necessary legal proceedings.
7. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and protocols.
9. Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
10. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related incidents, investigations, and outcomes.
11. Communicate effectively with store management and corporate leadership to provide updates on security issues and concerns.
12. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information related to security matters.
13. Collaborate with other departments, such as Loss Prevention and Human Resources, to support company-wide security initiatives and goals.
14. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner while interacting with customers and external partners.
15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, at all times.
