Responsible for personal development through building of foundational level knowledge, technical and audit skills and active participation in PREMIER and other Loan Review training both on-the job or through assigned programs. Perform loan review functions from pulling reports and sampling information to performing loan reviews. Gains foundational knowledge and understanding of PREMIER, its products and services, as well as expanding an understanding of Loan Review, which is part of Internal Audit. Perform testing of loans in accordance with established standards and protocols to support internal audit management in determining whether controls are operating effectively. Document potential loan review findings when exceptions are identified and assist internal audit management in performing root cause analysis.. Communicate audit concerns to the senior loan review staff or Internal Audit Management to assist in ensuring business unit Management’s efforts to address audit issues are resolved.
