Job Description

At First Midwest Bank, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Corporate Banking Director. Our ideal candidate will have experience in corporate credit and relationship management and be a strategic thinker with a passion for client service. The Senior Corporate Banking Director will be responsible for developing and deepening relationships with our corporate banking clients, as well as for creating and executing corporate banking strategies and initiatives in order to meet the bank’s growth objectives.The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate banking, ideally with a strong credit and relationship management background. They should have a proven track record of success in identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities to grow the business. The Senior Corporate Banking Director should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to lead and build strong teams. A Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deepen relationships with corporate banking clients.
  2. Create and execute corporate banking strategies and initiatives to meet bank growth objectives.
  3. Identify and capitalize on new opportunities to grow the business.
  4. Lead and build strong teams.
  5. Provide guidance to credit and relationship managers.
  6. Monitor credit quality and performance of corporate banking clients.
  7. Maintain and update client information in the bank’s systems.
  8. Create and present proposals to prospective corporate banking customers.
  9. Manage customer portfolios and provide portfolio analysis.
  10. Maintain and review credit documents for accuracy and compliance.
