We are currently seeking a highly experienced and driven individual to join our team as the VP of Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure the continuity of our business operations in the face of potential disasters or disruptions.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plan for First Data, in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  2. Lead and oversee all aspects of the company's business continuity and disaster recovery program, including risk assessments, testing, and training.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.
  4. Monitor and analyze potential threats and disruptions to our business operations, and develop contingency plans to minimize their impact.
  5. Maintain and update all relevant policies, procedures, and documentation related to business continuity and disaster recovery.
  6. Ensure that all departments and employees are well-informed and trained on their roles and responsibilities in the event of a disaster or disruption.
  7. Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments related to business continuity and disaster recovery, and incorporate them into the company's program as needed.
  9. Communicate regularly with senior leadership and other stakeholders on the status of the company's business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.
  10. Lead and mentor a team of business continuity and disaster recovery professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of the program.
  11. Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the company's business continuity and disaster recovery program, and make recommendations for improvement.
  12. Serve as a point of contact for any business continuity and disaster recovery-related inquiries or incidents.
  13. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that business continuity and disaster recovery considerations are integrated into all aspects of the company's operations.
  14. Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and other events related to business continuity and disaster recovery.
  15. Uphold the company's values and culture, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment for all employees.

  • Extensive Experience In Business Continuity And Disaster Recovery Planning And Implementation, Preferably In A Large-Scale Organization.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices And Standards Related To Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, And Emergency Response.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Professionals.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Initiatives Simultaneously.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Developing And Maintaining Business Continuity And Disaster Recovery Plans, As Well As Conducting Regular Testing And Updating Processes As Needed.
