- Develop and implement security strategies and procedures to protect company systems and data.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and emerging threats to proactively identify and address potential security issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security protocols are integrated into all aspects of the company's operations.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
- Investigate and resolve security incidents in a timely manner, and provide recommendations for preventing future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Lead and mentor junior security engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance the overall security posture of the company.
- Communicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing security controls and processes to enhance the overall security posture of the company.
- Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices and policies.
- Collaborate with external security vendors and partners to implement and maintain security solutions.
- Generate reports and metrics to measure and communicate the effectiveness of security initiatives.
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Represent the company in security-related meetings and conferences to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Extensive Experience In Information Security: A Senior Security Engineer At First Data-Fiserv Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Information Security. This Includes Hands-On Experience In Implementing And Managing Security Controls, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Responding To Security Incidents.
Strong Technical Background: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Security Technologies, Such As Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Vulnerability Scanners, And Encryption Methods. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Network And System Architecture.
