- Manage and maintain all aspects of Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Develop and implement strategies for database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, providing timely resolution to minimize downtime and ensure system availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that align with business needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation for database processes, procedures, and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DBAs.
- Identify and implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and capacity planning to proactively address potential issues.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on database status and any potential risks or issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to database emergencies outside of regular business hours.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing to ensure data integrity and system resiliency.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Participate in project planning and provide technical expertise to ensure successful implementation of database solutions.
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience Working As An Oracle Dba With A Focus On Database Design, Performance Tuning, And Troubleshooting.
Strong Knowledge Of Oracle Database 12C And Above, Including Advanced Features Such As Real Application Clusters (Rac), Data Guard, And Automatic Storage Management (Asm).
Proven Experience In Managing Large-Scale Databases In A High-Availability Environment, Including Disaster Recovery Planning And Implementation.
Extensive Experience With Database Security, Including User Management, Role-Based Access Control, And Encryption.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With A Proven Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
