  1. Develop and implement load balancing strategies to optimize system performance and ensure high availability for critical applications.
  2. Manage and maintain load balancing infrastructure, including hardware, software, and configurations.
  3. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to load balancing.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and design load balancing solutions to meet those needs.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in load balancing technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to current infrastructure.
  6. Create and maintain documentation for load balancing processes, procedures, and configurations.
  7. Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure load balancing solutions align with overall network and security strategies.
  8. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents related to load balancing.
  9. Train and mentor junior load balancing engineers to improve overall team knowledge and skillset.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on load balancing initiatives and projects.
  11. Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability of load balancing processes.
  12. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact system performance.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures, and ensure load balancing solutions comply with regulatory requirements.
  14. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to evaluate and implement new load balancing technologies.
  15. Continuously evaluate load balancing processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Load Balancing Technologies: A Senior Load Balancing Engineer At First Data-Fiserv Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Load Balancing Solutions Using Technologies Such As F5, Citrix, And Nginx.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Network Security: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Network Security Protocols And Best Practices, Including Ssl/Tls Encryption, Firewalls, And Intrusion Detection Systems.

  • Expertise In Troubleshooting And Performance Optimization: The Senior Load Balancing Engineer Should Have The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Issues Related To Load Balancing And Optimize Performance By Fine-Tuning Configurations And Implementing Best Practices.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Load Balancing Engineer Should Have Experience In Project Management, Including Planning, Executing, And Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires Collaboration With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Network Engineers, Application Developers, And Security Professionals. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Technical Information And Work Well In A Team Environment.
